Can I hire an out of state lawyer?
Generally, an attorney needs to be licensed to practice law in the state in which he or she is litigating. However, there are exceptions to this rule in many jurisdictions. Depending on your home state’s procedures, it may be possible for our experienced St. Louis legal team to represent you. We often have opportunities to represent clients in conjunction with the other state’s attorneys, or to provide our full legal counsel without first passing your state’s bar exam. No matter your situation, we will work with you to ensure you receive the best representation for your personal injury, defective product or medical malpractice case.
