Man Accused of Assaulting Elderly Women in Missouri Nursing Homes

Victims of nursing home abuse deserve to receive justice.

Walter Javier Martinez, of Ballwin, MO is being charged with two counts of deviate sexual assault, one count of forcible rape, and one count of forcible sodomy.

Martinez allegedly fondled an 80-year-old woman with dementia while bathing her at Bethesda Meadow Nursing Home in Ellisville.  According to police, another client residing at Sunrise Living nursing facility in Chesterfield was also abused earlier this year.

A third victim, a patient in St. Louis County, has now reported to police that she was raped by Martinez.
