According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Statistical Analysis Center, there were a total of 151,353 traffic accidents in 2010. Out of these a total of 54,875 persons were injured and a total of 821 persons died. That means that in 2010 a person was injured in a traffic accident every 9.6 minutes.
